These Smoothies Will Help You Gain Weight

Everyone talks about weight loss becoming a reality after cutting down on the carbs. However, weight gain doesn’t mean the exact opposite— fill yourself up. In fact, what you’re working towards is gaining that extra energy and stamina to help your body get fitter and stronger. Not to make you grow fat! Just so you know, no junk foods are going to help you get there. So throw them out. But we think that these oh-so-yummy smoothies will help you gain energy and stay fit.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Before you judge this recipe with its name, you should know that peanut butter is chock-full of heart-healthy fat. So breathe! All you have to do is blend all these ingredients in a blender until creamy.


1 cup almond milk
½ avocado
3 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder
½ tsp cinnamon

Strawberry Avocado Smoothie

Avocados are one of the healthiest ways to gain weight. They’re also great for the skin, being rich in Vitamin A, D and C. Bonus: They’re easily available in Pakistan! Do this: Blend the yogurt and milk in a blender. Then add the banana and avocado. Lastly, add the strawberries and blend until smooth.


¼ cup milk
¾ cup yogurt
1 whole banana
1½ cup strawberries
¼ avocado
¼ tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Banana Smoothie

In order to keep this blend healthy, please choose dark chocolate. It is full of antioxidants and it may even help protect the heart from various diseases. Pour the milk into a clean blender. Add banana, chocolate, and yogurt. Blend. Add ice and blend until there are no ice or chocolate pieces left.


¼ Cup milk
¾ Cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1 Banana
3 Dove Chocolates (dark) or roughly 2-3 Tbsp Chips
1 Cup ice
