Project Ghazi: Pakistan’s First Superhero Movie’s Trailer is Out

Is this the moment when Lollywood finally moves away from typical love stories, family-drama and emotional drags? Time will tell.

The first superhero film to be produced in Pakistan, Project Ghazi’s trailer is out. Yes, you read it right. And it looks like one action-packed movie is on its way. Starring Humayun Saeed, Sheheryar Munawar and Syra Shahroz in lead roles, the movie has been said to be one of the most awaited films of 2017.

Directed by Nadir Shah, Project Ghazi is based on a mission (Project Ghazi). More towards the sci-fi genre, which is not a part of Pakistani films usually, the movie looks promising and boasts a new idea.

The trailer begins with a man behind a mask, who seems to threaten to expose the reality of human nature and he speaks in a deep, manly voice. He introduces himself as Qattan. In real life, he is none other than actor Adnan Jaffar.

The almost-30-second trailer also introduces Humayun, Sheheryar and Syra.

Here, we see Syra holding a gun. Now that’s something we haven’t seen her doing, or have we? Looks like she’s a part of the mission.

Sheheryar is apparently one of the good guys. Look at him and those muscles! Someone surely took the gym way too seriously and for the better.

And will Humayun ever get old? Look at him in his element here.

Like we haven’t spoiled it enough for you, here’s the jaw-dropping teaser of Project Ghazi:
