During the ’90s and ’00s, flaunting pencil-thin eyebrows was a super trend. All the girls and aunties were seen sporting sharp, dark and thin arches. Ironically, many folks were left with sparse brows for years afterwards.
But times have changed, and thank god for that.
Bushy eyebrows have been the in-thang for quite some time now. They add a youthful touch to your face. Actresses and models have been going around with thick, undone eyebrows and one may just wish to beef up theirs someday.
There’s a Mawra Hocane with beautiful bushy brows to define her face…
The newcomer Hania Aamir who looks more younger with the fullest arches…
Then the evergreen Mahira Khan who has always carried the thick-brows look in style…
Pakistan’s very own model, actress Sadaf Kanwal who cannot be pictured without her heavy eyebrows…
And also Maya Ali who looks effortlessly pretty with her thick brows…
But you don’t have to be a celebrity in order to get these heavy looking eyebrows on your face.
Here are magical tips to get you your bushy eyebrows naturally, plus they are long-lasting unlike eye pencils or brow gels:
1) Step away from plucking
Whether you’re a tweezer, waxer or threader, you may want to reconsider the amount of light you use when you’re grooming your brows. This is because the more the light falls on your face, you’ll want the tiniest of the hairs pulled off. Excessive plucking and even waxing will prevent the hair from growing back and that won’t let you achieve your bushy-brow goal.
2) Vaseline is the key
To promote hair growth, your skin needs to be well hydrated and nourished. By using Vaseline on the area of your eyebrows where you wish to get more hair growth, you allow the locking of moisture in your skin as that’s what petroleum jellies do. Clean and dry the area before application, and follow the Vaseline-routine at least three to four times a day.
3) Don’t tweeze more frequently than a fortnight
Tweezing frequently does not give your brows time to fully start growing in. So don’t tweeze more often than every two weeks.
4) Oil massage is the way to go
You already know how fruitful oil is for hair growth. Similar is the result if used on eyebrows. Go for castor, olive or coconut oil. Dip a cotton swab in oil and gently massage before you sleep.
